x402 is a machine-payment and access mechanism. Paid routes can be advertised in a machine-readable way through a .well-known/x402.json document.
Payment is not permission
Payment is not permission. NOMOS can still block or restrict a request even when a paid route exists.
- NOMOS does not become a wallet.
- Payment verification is separate from action authorization.
- A received payment does not mean an unsafe action is allowed.
- A paid route can still resolve to REVIEW or BLOCK.
